About the Host: Jerome Love

Jerome D. Love is an entrepreneur, author, speaker and founder and CEO of the Texas Black Expo, the largest business expo for African American merchants and consumers in the United States. Through his various business and community initiatives, he endeavors to empower African Americans by providing them with the tools, education and insight necessary to close the wealth gap in this country.

Throughout his career as an entrepreneur and professional speaker, Jerome has been consistently recognized as a well-respected and highly sought-after expert in peak performance, sales and leadership. The author of several books, his writings have been published nationally and are frequently quoted by industry experts.

In 2020, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Jerome created the We All Eat program, an effort to help struggling restaurants in the midst of a national shut-down as well as families facing food insecurity. The program provided free meals to those in need, purchased from restaurants desperate to keep open their doors. The $10 million program helped to provide over 750,000 meals throughout the Fort Bend County, Texas, area.

As a real estate professional, Jerome is the broker of LHS Realty Group, a leading real estate firm headquartered in Houston.

Jerome’s latest venture is Black Money Tree, a personal finance philosophy delivered through a curriculum and video podcast that empower Black people with the education, support and resources they need to understand and build wealth and to achieve both individual and collective economic sufficiency for future generations.

Local and national media outlets have recognized Jerome for his many pursuits and successes including The Real talk show, Black Enterprise, the Houston Business Journal, the Houston Chronicle, and many more.

Jerome has received numerous accolades and awards for his business acumen and work in the community including the Larry V. Green Leadership Award from the Greater Houston Black Chamber; Multi-Million Dollar Top Producer designation (Prudential Texas Realty); and Entrepreneur of the Year (National Black MBA Association, Houston Chapter). He has also been featured as a keynote speaker on major platforms such as the Los Angeles Mayor’s Economic Development Summit, New Mexico’s State Leadership Conference, the National Alliance of Black School Educators National Conference and the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization’s National Conference for six straight years. He has also shared the stage speaking at conferences with global icons such as Jeff Hoffman (Founder of Priceline.com), Earvin “Magic” Johnson (NBA Hall of Famer), and Dr. Gene Landrum (Founder of Chuck-E-Cheese).
